Cool FJ40/45 Ramsey Winch Brochure

I thought I would share a Ramsey Winch Brochure with some great information on it. Looks to be around 1963 (stamped bezel).

Truck is earlier. Interesting piece of lit as it documents the exact vin of the transition from the FJ25 bumper. Pretty wild, wonder if the early part number came with extended bumper brackets.

Not sure on the brackets, but I was able to get this copy of this from a friend. He brought a 65 FJ45 Lpb new from a local Toyota dealership and had a Ramsey put on it. He still has the truck and drives everyday.

 

[Living in the Past]

The first FJ25 I bought had a Ramsey winch. Used the stock Toyota PTO. One of the brackets was trimmed for the winch. My 70 FJ40 has a Ramsey as well. Bought that one from the original owner and believe the winch was dealer installed. It has the Ramsey PTO

Any chance you have the operating or install instructions for a newbie? I have two Ramsey PTO's and neither "I assume" are complete. But I might be able to fashion one complete one out of the two. Thanks for this posting.
