Converter hole plug

While under the 80 I noticed a big hole. Seemed odd.
Thought is was the torque converter and checked the fsm and it is.
The FSM shows a converter hole plug and mine is gone.
Should I be concerned about this?
Is this going to kill my torgue converter?
Should I be finding one ASAP?

The main worry is getting debris in there, mud, rocks, birds and whatever you run over. Get a cover, in the mean time don't go mudding.
