Connecting to Stock Backup Camera LX470 '06 through the TV ECU (1 Viewer)

I put this together in response to a request for help, this might be useful to others too


This is If you have an '06 LX470 and you would like to use the stock backup camera . This might work for other models too


Buy these posi-taps and this rca wire with trigger. Use this wire stripping tool if you don't have one yet, this will help expose the copper on your rca wire.

Here is a picture with how I ran the wire added

I youtubed how to use the positaps



Here is how you'll find the correct harness (white thing that holds wires)

Here is how you will know which wires to connect your rca wire to (using your positaps)

you should be able to get up and running with the above, have a shot at it and let me know if you can't manage it

The link to the RCA cable is now routing to a splitter. Can someone please clarify what RCA cable is needed for this tap? Thanks!
