I've got 2 (vintage now?) jerry can holders. I believe they are both from Con-Ferr but only 1 still has the stickers. One of the mounts bolts up to a FJ40 spare tire swing out straight. The other mount (brand new) has a jeep or 5 lug pattern from what I can tell. I'd like to sell them together. Asking $100 for both plus shipping.

The one with long slotted looks like the one adjustable for larger wheel/tires. Doesn't look like either work on the 8/76 tire carrier. That rotates off the 12/2/4/6/8/10 O'clock. Am I wrong?

The picture of my 1982 40 above is with the longer slotted looking mount. I mounted it to the carrier through 2 slots, then put the tire on and 3 lugs to secure tire. Was straight and never had an issue. Should work on your ‘76.
