I replace the drivers side with a new unit after having both AHC voltages fall to such a low point that the AHC stopped operating. I think it needs 10 to operate and I was down at 7.8 for both voltages.

I decided to tear fuse box apart to see if I could find an issue. I did not see anything obvious. I will test the relays under load if I get a chance and post it here later. I don’t have me volt meter on hand tonight

Here are pics

I am pointing to the pin that goes to AM1 (and several other fuses) from the defog relay, this copper connection and the other could become loose over time, mine slid off with little effort but was still fairly tight

Replacing my fuses and wiggling them would sometimes get the AHC voltages high enough for the system to operate and stop flashing off.

I'm assuming that is the body computer incorporated into it?
That looks like one pricey unit........
Any way to mount a protective shield out of aluminium foil or something to preempt water damage.
