Came across this eye candy video of restoring a rusted, mud filled LX570 by removing every part and restoring it back to new:

I’m betting now that it is a hand built vehicle, it’s a bit better than assembly line

1) They have a FIPG robot, what the hell kind of shop is this?!?!
2) What was that thing they used to clean the bare block? Looked like some sort of laser cooker?
 
Pretty wild that they take the time to do all this and have all the tooling to rebuild the engine even down to the automated gasket maker.

Whereas here in the US that thing would certainly be parted out/in a junkyard.

I wonder if there's a good amount of profit (even any?) in doing this in other parts of the world?
