a 2" body lift will probably be part of the next phase.

Researching the material in the archives, compared to the kits on the web. Seems that folks that do a body lift over 1", often have to extend steering column, shift linkage, as well as the expected radiator mounts.

When I look at the 2" "kits" around the web, seems they are just body pucks and associated hardware. has anybody come across a vendor with a 2" body lift kit that is "complete" with all the necessary pieces for a 2"body lift?

EMU 2-inch Lift

Sure, there are lots of 2-inch lift kits out there. Search MUD. Man-A-Fre sells an EMU 2-inch 4+Plus Kit.

No I dont work for them. I pulled together my own parts for an EMU 2-inch lift. Here is what it looks like (before and after) on my 80 Series rig.

Oh, read much. Body lift....steering column work, transfer knob disapears into the floor....no, don't do it.

I have a 2" body lift on mine. bought the kit from 4 crawler and bought the steering extension. I had to modify the radiator brackets and make a plate to lift the 4wd shifter. Also had to extend the transmission linkage to make it shift into park.

Thanks for the input folks

If I do the BL this winter, I will be borrowing shop space from a friend, and working on my DD. So I would just like to be as prepared as possible once we start.

Hoping in the next few months, I can find a 95+ at a pick-and-pull, and get some rad mounts and the linkage for a reasonable price. Do my best to be ready before I start.

Do i remember correctly, 91-94 had a different tranny?

Did anybody get the bolt hole pattern measurements for raising the shifter?
