I'm sure I could. Never even thought of that though. I have to make at least 100 at a time. Do you think there is a market for 50 sets of course spline hubs?

Probably not. I'm not even sure if the length is the same. Besides possilbe body length change, you only need a piece to mate to the course spline axle. The rest of the hub could stay the same. 100 of those pieces could be feasible, but still probably not much market, guess you can ask around. I know my Selectros will eventually be obsolete completely. These would be a great alternative. I guess Warn still makes a course hub.

That's all it would take, but I don't know if the length is the same. What measurement would you need?

End of spindle to tip of axle? End of hub to tip of axle? Or to the c-clip groove?

I have a FJ60 and my 40, guess I can compare if needed.

Cool, could be an excellent alternative product. I guess you could even sell the inner hub peice as a retrofit for other Aisin hubs that guys may already own. That would recoup costs on the 100 if the bodies are the same.

Did you ever pursue this any further Marshall. I'm still in the market for new hubs.

I was workiing with Bobby Long on making hubs for him. But none of what I could get make would stand up to his test. Close but not enough. I was working on a solid chromo locking hub when he started having health problems. After his death I just don't know if I want to pursue it further on my own.

I miss Bobby.
