Looking for a clean, low mileage 95-97 FZJ80 or LX450 that has spent its life in the southwest.
  • Low mileage. 150k or less. Lower is obviously better.
  • Color: Would prefer good condition white or 40th Anniversary Sage but open to all colors other than black.
  • No rust.
  • Would prefer clean Carfax (no accidents) but not a hard requirement depending on the severity of damage and repairs.
  • Lockers: Not required but would prefer factory e-lockers but okay with ARBs.
  • Willing to travel within southwest US as my work schedule allows. Being up front on this since I already missed out on one prime opportunity due to not being able to get to location quick enough for the owner.

I see you want 150k miles or less, but I am getting ready to put my white LX450 with 198K miles up for sale. ARB rear lockers, lifted, bumpers, regeared, excellent condition. I am the third owner for the last 10 years adding about $60k. No rust other than a few surface spots on the rear hatch. I can provide pictures and details if you have an interest. I am in Colorado

I live in CO, and have a 96 LX 450 with factory triple lockers. Has a dobinsons 2.5" lift with variable rate springs. Zero rust. 168k miles. I'm the second owner, first owner bought it new at the Lexus dealership and had it serviced every 5k miles there - I have the full binder of records including the original window sticker.

It's in gorgeous condition - the rear and 3rd row seats look literally new since the original owner didn't have kids and nobody sat back there.

Quick summary:
  1. It has an entirely new OEM cooling system (literally every single part other than trans cooler) + had the head gasket job done, including injectors and a ton of other work. It was done by Japanese Auto Service in CO about 2k miles ago.
  2. The reason the HG job was done was because after doing all the typical leaks (crank seal, oil pump, etc) it was still leaking. Ended up being timing cover so to do that job you have to remove head...I did it all.
  3. New OEM timing cover + literally all engine seals
  4. New OEM head gasket, machine work on the head (it was in great shape already).
  5. Replaced the chain & guides since it was open.
  6. Front seat gears repaired
  7. Fan clutch
  8. All new belts
  9. PHH and every other hose was done as part of cooling system
  10. Brand new BFG K02s (33s) including spare, < 3k miles on them
  11. Brand new OEM carpet (I took everything out to put down kilmat + mass loaded vinyl for sound deadening)
I'd like to sell it because I want to move to a 100 series tbh, my job picked up like crazy and I don't have time to adventure. The 80 is meant to be an adventure mobile.

PM me
