I was t-boned in my 200 this AM taking my little dude to daycare by a red light runner asleep at the wheel. Both he and I are completely fine thanks to our battle wagon, the other driver in her 3-series not so much.

I have a 2018 Onyx Blue LC that's going to need repair to the driver side rear door and quarter panel. I'm a little concerned about paint match, etc. with this color. Anyone have good experiences or recommendations for a Dallas body shop?

Dude, I rolled by this morning when the beemer was still blocking traffic on Abrams. I was in my silver 2018 and could feel your pain. Dallas has a serious red light problem.

I've had two cars fixed at Concours Paint & Body - 11415 Anaheim, 75229. It's behind Toyota of Dallas. Naturally, I'm a picky mofo and they did a great job both times.

Best of luck getting it fixed.

Any pics? Of both cars? Glad you’re ok!
Here’s mine. Other than not tracking quite straight, it drove fine on the way home. Sad about my LC, but really glad it it did the job and kept my little one safe.

Yep that was me. Love hearing from another East Dallas Land Cruiser, I think we might be the LC capital of the US.

They're seriously everywhere. I'd often see them in the area, but didn't realize their prevalence until I started living in East Dallas. Have you been by the house in Lakewood that has 4 parked out front?

Haha, yes all the time. I think that’s on Lakeshore.

OK, roll your eyes if you want....Silvere is also a tough color to match. I had some work done on my old 4Runner and the paint was absolutely perfect. I now they will work on your LC because of my T4R. At least give them a shot.

Tough lick, but glad you guys are ok! Might be a good time to upgrade tires, bumper, lift, sliders, etc....

Hey Bic, where’d you have the work on your 4Runner done?

They are tough trucks! Glad all came out safe! Someone please post a picture of the house with 4 x 200s! That is a dream

If you planned on keeping the 200 forever I would trailer it to St. Louis and get Kyle Neely to work on it. If my 2021 is ever in a wreck I will 1000% send it out to him to be fixed. He has a YouTube channel and is more OCD than most of the guys here on the forum. I know it sounds crazy to send a car somewhere to be fixed but that just my .02. Watching his videos he is unbelievably detailed!

Welp, I dropped it off at Sewell today and the guy working my file said it looks like ~$25k and 3 months' worth of repairs.

And we can't start yet while we wait to find out if the other party actually had insurance or not. At this point, the insurance policy the police gave me was not in force at the time of the accident.

any updates... Dallas here too got rear ended on NW Highway and Douglas a few weeks ago - luckily he had insurance. Going to need new gate and likely hatch, bumper and left fender, exhaust pipe, and maybe hitch receiver (this one worries me the most because LC hitch receiver is actually welded on i believe - hopefully not any other damage). Called sewell they say they can get me in 23rd - but thats without any looking at backlogs on parts?

Mine is still at Sewell. They had to take then entire driver side and front end apart and remove the full interior and windshield. It's supposed to be headed to paint this week. It'll have been 3 full months by the time I get it back.

Yeah, they'll take it in but won't give you a repair completion estimate until they get through teardown and know what they're working with. I think there was 3-4 weeks of dead time between teardown and when they started cutting for the repairs. They were concerned about parts, but didn't have any issues sourcing. Communication has been good and I get an update once a week or on demand.

I obviously don't have mine back so can't give a full review, but I've been happy so far and received multiple referrals to Sewell. Really sucks to have been without my LC for this long though. Sorry to hear about yours.

Thats what im dreading - they said bring it in on the 23rd to start - i laughed and said - are you sure you have parts etc..... they said oh we'll figure it out... Dont want the same situation. I may take it in and have them order what they need (dont mind paying if thats the issue) - if they will do that.. then call me when its all in :) maybe wishful thinking...
