200 series 3 collision system unavailable message on dashboard. Everyone I am dealing with this message which initially started with I change the original emblem on the grill front grill and replaceable OEM and that’s what started this whole message later. Went head to Toyota and got the original Toyota friend, garnish or emblem put it on and hoping that this message will go away however it did not so I checked the sensors cleaned all the wiring and make sure all the wires are in Tax fuses are attacked However, I basically run out of options of what to look into so the message is still coming up, which is pre-collision system is unavailable and because of that I believe the cruise control is also inactive. It’s not working so if anyone has any experience about this or have seen heard anything about it I would really appreciate any pointers on how to go about this. It’s really annoying and more importantly I just can’t use the cruise control for long drives. I checked all the sensors are clean. The windshield sensor is clean. Fuses are good wiring. As far as I know is good from the front camera sensor to the actual sensor behind the grill emblem all of those wiring are I checked clean Fuses are good inside and inside the outside on the engine box shoes would really box you so I did this much but still in deal with that so if you know anything about it or have experienced that it’s such a thing please let us know. Thank you.

You may need a front radar recalibration.
All the connectors are plugged in completely?
Thank you all for the replies. The calibration was the issue. I was able to recalibrate the radar sensor behind the emblem, drove it for about 6-10 miles and the-message cleared itself. If it helps anyone else with the same issue. I did the recalibration myself.

Basically I loosened the 10mm nuts and the 2 screws on the top, tilted the sensor up from the bottom to face down ( towards the ground) tightened the 2 screws first then then 10mm bolts. Thats pretty much solved the recalibration issue.

That’s not quite what a recalibration is, so the systems relying on the radar sensor might not work very well if it’s off by much—and they can be very particular about it. When we recalibrate the front radar sensor, it adjusts the aiming internally by tenths of a degree. You would also need to have the proper target set up at the correct distance and height.

Messing with ADAS systems without the proper tooling or knowledge is asking for trouble

@200LC2016

Looks like you did well to resolve this. IMO as long as the vehicle was not in an accident, the grill not removed/mounted as per OEM, the windshield not recently replaced with the sensors in there at the rear view mirror and the suspension is stock I would not worry about a full ADAS alignment as long as you test the working of radar cruise control paying attention as you do.

Good luck!
