Panhard can have some bends .. actually JK panhards have bunch of mends ( more than I like to see .. and those rigs really suffer from death wooble .. but I'm not saying it's coz of odd panhard )

80 series panhard have bend to avoid 3rd member .. not that much but it is and noticeable. Can be in the front or rear of axle but you will found that behind the axle can be more challenging ..

Saw the 81 today and like how it's panhard is orientated.

I bought a bj74 steering box to move it in front of the pitman arm and to make room for the coil over.

oh ya. I also started making room for the new towers for the coils overs.... You can kinda see the goofy trolly I made for the axle stands, it workrs great to roll the axle in and out from under the truck. Well worth the $20 in casters and cutting up an old bed frame I found in the alley!

The garage works nice. Lots of room. Could always be bigger and have more tools.

man do I envy the full hydro.

What are you running for bump stops?

the full hydro sure simplifies things. I have some 2.0 FOA bumps but have not installed them yet.... talk about trying to package those into fit. Honestly, I am thinking about making some "pads" on the lower links for the bumps to strike but I'm a bit nervous of the link rotating on impact. Jury is still out on that part but I will be tackling it here a few weeks.

Brad keep in mind that 7* series box at the frame horns will be couple of inches lower than it's right now .. plus pitman arm ( that have some inches drop ) in order to calculate space for panhard .. and drag link.

I found a flat arm for it as well. I will see how it all fits up but at least it gives me some more options.

My other thought was to take a LHD box and put it on the inside of the frame rail. Problem is the motor mount gets in the way. Moving the mount is a little tricky.

picture of the space in my garage for Brokenparts... It's not huge but it works. How you maneuvered around in your cramped space was impressive.

very nice...

my old garage was a nightmare. The warehouse is nice to work in now. I would have been done literally years ago if I had the warehouse to work in from the get go. We currently have a house on the market and if it sells we are going to move to some property where I can build a proper shop.

How about some spy pics on that welding table in front of the 40.

Sorry for the hi-jack but I'm trying to get some ideas for a shop if/when we do move.

The bench is FABULOUS. I should have done it years ago. I actually just finished it up for this project. It's a copy of the miller project table. I love it. One of the best things in my shop to be honest. Only thing I would have done different is gone thicker then the 3/8 top but it is still pretty good. It measure 48x28 with a 3" over hang on the front and a 1" on the back. It still needs a 3" "ladder" on the the one side. Vise is now in a removable receiver hitch. Key is to have a set bolt to tighten it up.

38" Same as my other benches. I find the standard 36" bench to low.

no problem. I love garage stuff as much as my cruisers. My first garage was a nightmare. I started in this:
