Hi brothers, I'm getting an intermittent code P0770 and from the research I did here I picked up part number 35250-50030 which should hopefully solve the issue. I've got her in the shop just doing the routine maintenance before the winter lots of small things and I'm thinking if I'm going to have them drop the pan I might as well change all the solenoids out.

What do you guys think? Also is there anything else I should have them do in there while the pan is dropped?

I found some old threads where an entire kit was sold with all the solenoids and even a gasket for tranny pan, apparently izuzu parts. Unfortunately they were dead links and the kit is no longer available. The solenoid I picked up was Toyota OEM and I got Toyota FIPG instead of a gasket. Can anyone point out which 3 other solenoids I need and any input if I should stick with the FIPG or use a gasket? I'm a bit confused as to which other 3 solenoids I would need as the one I have is Toyota part number and the other threads have Izuzu part numbers listed.

Thank you fellas I appreciate it

Going to answer my own question here for the next guy.

What I have is the lock solenoid so for my truck being a 97 I can't use the Izuzu solenoids and I need 3 not 4. The other two I need are the same they are the shift solenoids part # 85420-21090. Also the gasket has worked fine for some guys but it has caused problems for other, better off sticking with the FIPG.

Someone spoke to adjusting a cable in there while the pan was dropped and of course cleaning the filter.

I got a P0750 this weekend. Surprised me because it drove exactly the same, CEL just turned on after a turn. Cleared it and hasn't come back. Not a lot of info on here.
Pan is easy to drop. Takes longer to clean off oily dirt and RTV than to swap everything out. The red FIPG is what you want for the transmission. Remember to chase/clean the threads, the trans bolts break easily.
The adjusting a cable you heard about is probably increasing the shift solenoid pressure. Easy to do, link here: Improving Transmission Shifting - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/improving-transmission-shifting.349909/
Here's the trans DTCs for diagnosis if you haven't found them already: Automatic Transmission System — 1997 Lexus Truck LX 450 L6-4.5L (1FZ-FE) Service Manual | Operation CHARM - https://charm.li/Lexus%20Truck/1997/LX%20450%20L6-4.5L%20%281FZ-FE%29/Repair%20and%20Diagnosis/A%20L%20L%20%20Diagnostic%20Trouble%20Codes%20%28%20DTC%20%29/Testing%20and%20Inspection/Diagnostic%20Trouble%20Code%20Descriptions/Automatic%20Transmission%20System/
