Anyone interested in heading over. Might be nice to put together a VI Cruisers contingent.

I'm gonna go.

They usually have a wheeling trip that Sunday as well.

When: July 19, 2008 around 10am
Where: Deas Island Park (Just up the road from Tsawwassen Ferry terminal)

hey....sounds like it could be fun. if its on a weekend i would be interested in going across

are you planning on staing for the wheeling trip? I don't think I can stay for sunday (wish I could), But I can probably make it for saturday.

Hey guys,

Yes its on a weekend, Saturday July 19th. We try to wrap things up by 3, then go for an overnight camp somewhere.
We will have this years destination nailed down after this weeks club meeting.

Hope to see you on the 19th!

dammit....thought my ball tourny was this weekend and not next....scratch me out i guess

vancouver trip

Ya I think I can make it.

We finally decided on the after show trip, and this year we will camp overnite at Big Silver Creek (East Harrison), and do some 'wheeling around the area on the Sunday.
The water levels in the area are still quite high, and since we had been to Hale Creek the last few years that option was deleted. Last years trip was great up to the north end of Chehalis, but with the massive landslide there earlier this year, that area is all closed off.
But Big Silver is a nice place, and people can take a short trip up to Clear Creek Hot Springs from there, and/or play on some of the nearby trails. We will be meeting at the gas station at Harrison Hot Springs at 7pm, Saturday night.

Hope to see you there.

road trip

OK how about a show of hands on who in the club might go to cruiser days.

This is a great place to meet fellow cruiserheads, swap ideas and look at shiny cruisers and not-so-shiny cruisers that get offroaded. Usually lots of JDM 80's, 61's 74's. and North American spec cruisers. As to when I am going - my plans are a little tentative as I am suppose to help my brother (in Vancouver) rebuild his front stairs, but I should be there about noon. Planning to do the overnite run, as I have not been on the east side of Harrison for quite some time.

We're going... I think we're gonna try for the 9AM ferry... We should try to meet up and go as a group so we can find a spot as a club.

So... Who else is comin' along?

I aiming for the Sat 8:00 am ferry. I have found the even hour ferries, which run only during the summer, tend to less congested than the odd hour ferries.

But your never know till you show up ....

I'll be on the 10:00am ferry, but my 5-ton work-rig is IFS so you'll probably just mock it.

just tell everyone it's a 100 series:rolleyes:
