The planners are a little behind in getting this survey out and need the results ASAP to include with the plan they are submitting. Please fill it out this week.

The City of Coalmont, TN is planning the development of a publicly owned and operated Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Park. The project is currently in the planning and design phase and is requesting public participation to identify user' needs. The success of the park depends on support and feedback from the OHV community. Please complete the survey at the following link by July 31, 2011. We look forward to hearing from you!

Thank you so much for your help and support!

Roger,
Is there value added to post this info on the AL and NC pages too? Thanks for being engaged and keeping us informed.

Done, I do some work over that way and know some local folks, I will ask around and would be glad to help if I can. I could check with some of the agencies I work with to see about grants and such. Since this sounds like a city effort, I think there might be some $$ out there to help them out.

Keep us posted.

Done. Thanks for the link. Passing it on..

Done.

When the survey asked "how often do you use your ohv?" did you tell the truth? once every 5 years.:flipoff2:
Nice.
I took the 4 wheeler out the other day on the trails near my house. I think that counts right?

I need to get on that front leak but the wife hurt her back so we have been unable to split our chores making another weekend come and go with no time for the truck.

Hello All--

The Coalmont OHV Park public survey closed July 31st with great success! In the 5 days the survey was available, 1,261 surveys were taken! Wow--that is extraordinary! The extent and success of the public involvement was due to so many of you posting the link in emails, webpage forums, facebook pages, and other forms of social media. Thank you so much for this! We have responses from nearly all the states and even one from British Columbia and New Zealand. There is no doubt that the OHV community rallied together to show their support for the Southern Gulf Off Road Park in Coalmont. The survey results look very good too and are supportive of the park and user fees. So many people took the time to write excellent comments and suggestions at the end of the survey. There's a lot of good ideas from experienced off-roaders and I'm grateful for that. It will take us some time to collect, organize, and interpret all the data, particularly the responses in text form. I can't wait to share the results and will keep you all posted.

Thank you again for making this survey so successful!!
