I am hopefult there will be a GREAT turnout from the ALCA at the Coal Mine cruiser Classic. We've offered to lead runs and with any luck we should be able to offer five or six trail leaders to the event. I've been leading trails for years (with Matt Reed's help most of the time) and it's rewarding. It's a great way to meet new people and often to help people get their feet wet (or wetter!!!) in the land cruiser wheeling scene.

I had hoped to do some tech inspection but that doesn't look like it's gonna happen. Shutdown starts at the steel mill where I work on Friday and I will be balls to the wall for five weeks. If we can offer some trail leaders and display our banner at the campground I think that will be a good representation from our club.

I'm staying at the Comfort Inn outside of Pine Grove (off exit 100 of I81), Matt Reed will be there along with Tom Humphries and hopefully Todd Oldenberg. It's a good quiet place, relatively close to the event and various restaurants, and has an indoor pool and hot showers. Free breakfast too. Me and the piggy will be at the campground Wednesday night for socialization (read: beer drinking) and I can hardly wait- it's only five weeks from tomorrow (I think!).

Who all is planning to attend from the club? This is the premier event of the year in our area and there aren't many good reasons why we shouldn't have a good turnout. Let's have a show of hands and see what we can expect from the ALCA! Gary S

I will not be able to make the entire trip. I will make it atleast one day. I would be more than happy to help anyway I can to support GCLC and ALCA. I will be able to let you know what day I can help a little closer to the event. If I camp it will be at Rausch.

The Polish brothers will be there wednesday afternoon with our fj40.brining the beers and kielbasa. will stay at eco valley campground. should be funn like every year. im also going to ec4rj on the 20 this month so im hoping to see some familiar faces out there. you to garry i hope you are comming. fixed my frame so im hoping to wheel hard this year.

I took a PTO day friday the 11th. I don't think I will be there early enough to wheel but I will be good to go on saturday. Can't wait to see everyone and take out some frustrations on the 80.

I may make it up on Satuday. Ive got no vacation to use:( Also PA ttora takeover is being held at the end of July which I had already planned on attending.

I wonder when they need to know by.

We will be there at least one day!! Yee haa.....

I think that the people that are going for the whole event are staying at the camp ground where all the raffels and and stuff are being held. Since I am only going over night I am staying at rausch. We could all try to meet up in the same corner or the park. Who is up for camping friday into saturday? Once we get a list we can keep in touch and work out the logistics.

I wont be coming on this one. Ive just got way too much work to do on the crawler.

CAZ,
If you're camping at the Echo Valley campground, you'll find a spot in the group. If it's like last year, we'll be set-up on the left hand side as you pull into the primitive camping area. I'll get there mid-afternoon on Wednesday like I did last year and stake our claim.

Bill,

Would you save a spot for me with the ALCA group? I wheel with ALCA more than any other group so I feel like a member.

Count me in

I will be there though probably not wheeling the stock 80, Shmukster's copilot will be my spot!

I will be away on a family vacation during this event. Have fun, all!

Looking like I might be able to make it! My wife's surgery is moved to the previous Monday.

Anyone have an open seat for Saturday? I doubt I will be able to make it for more than Friday night through Saturday afternoon.

Thanks,
CAZ

I have a seat for you or anyone else who wants one.
