I guess I need to get off my but and register.

As far as I know, all of the sites in that area are booked. I'm in T18, Ahmad is in T21, and some of the Keystone guys are also in that area. post up here and in Keystone to see if anyone has a site to share.

Whats the camping situation? We doing the same location as last year?
With all the campsite sold I’m going to split a sight with someone. Figure that out when I get there.

What day does everyone usually go up? I reserved from Wednesday night on.

I will probably come up Wednesday unless something unusual comes up.

@Jakes40, I'm staying at T14, but I don't check in until morning of 15JUL (thurs) leaving 18JUL (sun). One truck and one tent and of course I'm willing to share the space for a 51% share of the cost.

Regarding the AOAA trail-use fee, I looked to see about paying in advance online but their website didn't cover payment. How does it work AOAA veterans?

Registration closes soon, but we also have plenty of room to join an Expo Run for those of you who are interested...

Maybe you have already signed up for Coal Mine Cruiser Classic but you're interested in doing something a little different. Or maybe you haven't signed up because you'd rather use your truck to tour back roads and camp on the trail rather than wheel in a park. If that sounds like you, once you sign up for CMCC, you can sign up for one of our Expo runs. These start either Wednesday, 7/14, or Thursday, July 15 and return to Twin Grove Campground on Saturday. More info. is posted on the website.

Are these canceled? the front page says canceled due to lack of interest?

Yes, they were just cancelled due to lack of interest.

that's unfortunate! actually sounds really cool. I was just thinking about signing up for CMCC and signing up for that!
The last 2 years we had ExpoCMCC runs, both filled up in about 2 weeks after registration opened in February. This year there was 1 person signed up as of June 17th. There's a lot of logistics that goes into setting these up for no ridership interest. We'll try it again next year.

can't make it Wednesday evening. What are the chances that if I get to twin groves early in the morning Thursday that I can make the vehicle inspection and still hit the trails that day? And, if you think that's viable, what time would you say is a good ETA?

9:00.
We will probably still be in camp @ 9:00. If you go straight to AOAA there will still be people in the parking lot at 9:00.

Quick camping question
I am registered for cmcc 2021 and would like some clarification on camping.
feom what I understand there are camp sites available for reservation at the twin groves campground. I didn’t reserve a site and by looking at the event map I can see an open field where trailer and tent camping is allowed.
I want to bring my 28 foot enclosed trailer car hauler that I also plan to sleep in. Will this be allowed to park in that open field? Will I be allowed to sleep in my car hauler after I park it?
I just ask because I know that other campgrounds are particular about that.
Really looking forward to attending the event.
