I recently replaced the clutch master and slave cylinders on my '79 FJ40. Since then I have noticed that there is a little bit of grinding when I shift gears when the truck is cold. It seems to stop after it warms up to normal operating temperature.
Does this indicate that I don't have the slave cylinder adjusted right? If so, do I need to adjust it in (towards the body of the cylinder) or out (towards the clutch forks)? I'm thinking it is out...
I never noticed this before I replaced the units.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
