Hi fellas,

I'm hearing a clunking/knocking noise when turning right at high speed or when going over a dip. I've checked all the nuts and bolts and can't seem to identify the issue. Nothing is rubbing either.

Everything seems normal when driving straight or making the left turn, just when going over a hard dip or right turn. I am on Dobinsons IMS lift with 275/70/17 BFG.

What else should I be looking at?

Thanks in advance.

Could be that one of the shocks has lost its nitrogen charge. I had that happen on an Icon shock in the past and it resulted in a clunking noise. The noise was caused by the position that separates the oil from the nitrogen charge slapping the top of the shock body. Most shops that deal with off road suspension rebuilds should be able to check/add nitrogen charge to you shocks.

I had the mechanic check out everything twice and still couldn't find the issue. It's getting annoying with the sound.

When you say "...right at high speed..." do you mean like a right hand curve on the freeway or more like zipping around a right hand corner on a street?
Meaning are you going more like highway speeds or 15-25 mph?
If you're hearing it at around 65 mph I would be very concerned.
So, I'm going to go in a different direction, do you have anything loose that may shift on a right turn? Where do you hear/feel it? Front, rear, one side or the other??
Example, right now I have something in the back of my gear that when I accelerate I can hear a light bang, but not when I slow down. I know I just have something that came loose and need to readjust it.

Sounds like KDSS, the front hydraulic strut is on the drivers side. I have a very similar noise that I have narrowed down to the KDSS

For example, when I'm entering or exiting the freeway ramp where I have to go through the right hand curve at 45+ mph... I would hear and feel the clunking noise at the bottom on the driver side.
OR even on the street there I have to make a quick/swift right turn, I would hear and feel the same clunking noise
I've got the mechanic checked everything twice, even replaced the KDSS swaybar bushings.

It could be the bushings on the front KDSS actuator and right side sway bar

I replaced all 4 KDSS bushings

Just to clarify, you and the mechanic have checked over everything, on every corner, correct? Probably so, someone's gotta be that guy reminding you to cover every corner though, just in case.

In my many years of tracking down clunks on many different vehicles, only about half the time has it been on the corner I thought I felt/heard it on.

Also, this doesn't align with your description of feeling it, but check your wheels center cap. My SCS wheel center caps like to 'pop' when hot and even when loosening my lug nuts, never would've expected that sound to come from center caps unless I had been near them many times when they've done it after a long drive.
