This Jeep thingy happens every year just west of the small town of Cairo, GA. The first year of this annual occurrence caused a phenomenon that at first was very alarming to the locals. It appeared the sun was actually rising in the west but after further investigation it was determined that the glow was simply check engine lights from the Jeep event.

On a side note .... If you find yourself on Highway 84 between Thomasville and Quitman, GA consider stopping at the Buzzery in Boston, GA. Its a mom & pop restaurant that I highly recommend.

Future gatherings will be advertised here as well as the club’s Facebook page. We’re hoping that the two venues will get the word out to the club’s members. Due to the kindness of one of our members, we’re having “invitation to join” business cards printed for the club. The cards will be dispersed to the membership the next time we have a club function. They should be perfect to slip under someone’s windshield wiper.
