Well i'm proud to say I made it home safely after the 40's first trip uptown!
Me the owner of the Beaty on the right, mine is the Fugly beast on the left. He bought it from a guy who has restored several. Told him about the club and mud etc. hopefully he'll join.
Granted it was not without challenges, had to choke it so it didn't stall at lights.
After parking it at the event, it wouldn't fire up.... Might be vapor lock or something heat related.
So had a late breakfast at the diner, looked at some stragglers then she fired up after about an he of sitting.
On the way home I spotted a lifted black topless forty near park road shopping center.
All in all it was quite an adventure and a huge milestone.... Now I just need to figure out the vacuum leak or whatever prevents me from stopping without the choke.
Last man standing/stalling
He even had the tire carrier latch and bumpstop thing! Also had the oem floor mat,but didn't get a pic
I know I have issues with my mirror(s), new ones are on order
