Hi Guy's
I haven't been here in a while but need a bit of advice.
A couple of summers ago I stripped all the paint off my 60 to see just how rusty the old girl was and do the appropriate rust removal/welding patches.
Anyway after sorting the rust she was primed and painted with a single pack auto paint from a Ford dealer, but after two years I've noticed that the colour had started to gage slightly and as a side note, I have a few rust spots coming through.
Now the warm weather has arrived I'm thinking of stripping a panel at a time, retreat the rust, epoxy prime and topcoat.
What I want to know is can I apply a clearcoat over a one part top coat, and if so what prep do I need to do.
Regards
Malcee
Here is the old girl as she is now.
