Clean marks off of paint

Mydaughter prushed against a black mirror in her white 80 and there is a black streak down the side of her truck. Whats the best stuff to get the black mark off the paint?

I would try a buffing compound, or a medium cut paint cleaner. I had some yellow paint on mine from the previous owner and most of it came off.

Mineral spirits will take it off. Just wash and wax the spot afterwards.

I've taken some paint scrapes and clear coat scratches off with Turtle Wax rubbing compound and a little elbow grease.

I have used it many times. I would put it on a rag and hit it with a quick rub, dont let it linger. Stuff works well.

***read the directions on the bottle.

I googled goof off and it says that is what it is for.

For the record...It is paint left from contact right?,,not a scratch, (surface is not damaged?)
