Not set in stone yet, but I see no reason not to keep the Beach weekend date Sept 18, 19, and 20th like last year and moving forward. Still summer weather, and no traffic or crowds. No reason not to get a great turnout this year, as it is by far the most family friendly event on the CLCC calender. Daytime cruiser roundup hanging out on the Dewey state park driving beach. Beach bonfire party Friday night, and party at My Rehoboth house Saturday night. The new event this year will be the first annual CLCC King of the Hammers race on the beach. It will be a time trial event from starting line, around a cone approx 1 mile and return to starting line as the finish line. You can choose your own route and strategy. Follow the rutted sand track, blaze a new trail or try the low wet harder sand, any way you want to round the cone and back. It is an open tournament so stock, NOS, or Superchargers are all welcome as long as you have a Toyota manufactured truck. Trophy will be awarded to the winner whose name gets engraved on the cup with a one year possession like the Stanley cup! This is your chance to achieve greatness that will outlive yourself as the CLCC club looks back at the early champions decades from now and sees your name on that cup. Not to mention it will be a hell of a lot of fun too watch. Reserve the weekend now, you won't regret it
