Snagged a 16 CFM air compressor today. I'll update the thread with my impressions.

Quincy makes good stuff. Look forward to your thoughts.

Dang it. I had that rebuilt 10hp 3phase unit taking up space in my shop...

What is your max psi now? Should be just a simple adjustment to the pressure switch.

120psi is pretty normal max pressure. How much are you looking for? Is your problem really pressure or volume?

You might be able to get a new pressure switch but be careful not to over pressure the system. What does the owners booklet say about max pressure?

Funny we got a Quincy this week as well.

Also funny is the fact that I was completely unfamiliar with the Quincy brand until Andrew posted on Wednesday, then you posted this morning, and when I got to the warehouse a couple hours later, there was a Quincy repair truck in the parking lot...... guess I need a Quincy Compressor, huh?

@wct49 what are the specs on that unit? Looks like you got a dryer on it too. VERY nice.

Specs on Chris' Quincy include: So quiet you don't know it's on.

The old one's specs included: Hearing protection required.
