I actually prefer the silver, but both options are great.

In reality, you're searching for a 13 year old vehicle. The odds are low that you'll find yourself in a situation where you get to choose between two 100s in similar condition, with similar maintenance histories, for a similar price in your area. You'll end up buying the best one you can and color will likely become secondary.

Agreed. I'm sure this is what it will ultimately come down to in reality.

If I were to do it again, I would get white just because I think it would be cool to make a replica Australian poverty pack 105, SAS it and reupholster with cloth seats -

Before I bought mine I saw pictures of this silver cruiser and it sold me on the color combo. Hard to beat two tone black and silver

So that's how I built mine:

Yeah, I actually think both colors look great with black. Nice looking truck.

If moderately/heavily off-roaded, White/tan has an advantage. White doesn't show pin stripes and dents as much. LC white is a single stage paint and is easier to paint match versus metallic silver. Also, tan interior is the color of dust and dirt.

My favorite color on the hundy is the dark gray color, I forget the name. Pretty much every color after that is a close second for me, I don't think you can go wrong.

Galactic Gray?

I'm a fan as well. Shows dirt and pinstripes pretty well, though.

I'm partial to galactic gray (cleans up pretty well), but in your situation, I'd go silver.

OK now i feel like a creeper. I have this same pic of your truck on my phone. I'm doing a "re-build" on my truck this year and this is one of my inspiration pics - I love the hutchinsons/tires/stance on your truck.

Also, tan interior is the color of dust and dirt.

And sand, and my dogs' fur. Main reason I went with non-matching grey Weathertech mats--so I have an idea of how much of the beach and dog I have at my feet.

Rule #1 of shopping for a rare used vehicle: Color does NOT factor in.

If this were a 2016 Camry, sure - I'd only look at Black with Tan interior with... But for a comparatively RARE as *$&@ Land Cruiser, I'd have Miles, Rust, Condition, AHC vs Non-AHC, YEAR, 4 vs 5-speed, VVTi or not, Price, etc. so far above color, that the chances of "deciding" between to matched 100s... just don't see that happening.

This. It can be tough to be picky about color with vehicles like these.

I still rejected one or two gold trucks, though.
