Klinetime574 why didn't your brother stuff in a RB26DETT? Or a SR20? Is the CA18DET better than the SR20?

Money-to-power ratio, mainly. A CA18DET motorset is $1250, an RB26DETT $3500, and an SR20DET is $1800. CA's are cheaper than the SR because of less demand; it's ironic because the reason Nissan replaced the CA in '91 with the SR was because they cost too much to manufacture. The CA puts out around the same power as the SR with light modifications, and the RB26 is simply ridiculous—about $9000 for a full swap because the motor was never meant to sit in the car. (LHD clearance issues abound.) Also, the CA's head design is the same as an RB's, and it has an iron block, making it basically a four cylinder version of the RB. Mini-RB for a mini-Skyline = perfect. S13 FTW!

Err... FJ60's too. I love my brother's Cruiser; it's where I first started working on cars.

life got in the way this year so couldn’t find time to 4 wheel to hunt for a tree. bought one instead. this was the first duty my new arb roof rack got
