I’ll tell you fixing the belt, pulley and tensioner was a pretty easy thing to do and if a shop did it I imagine not terribly expensive either. It’s just take bolts off and put new things on with the bolts. Not a peep from under the hood after I changed mine. -best

Any questions let us know because everyone on here was very helpful but I feel like I have a good handle on it after just doing it. Note I called two local dealers for the parts as well as finding them online. The most expensive was $450 (roughly) and the cheapest was $210. All same parts and all OEM from Toyota so worth checking around.

Please keep me posted on how this goes. I’m due for a 70k service next month and was planning on having them look at it then—but if I can do it myself instead that would be great
