I remember tony. How time has ravaged his once young looks......

What about that other guy- Cliff? These Indiana people just keep dropping like flies. Maybe the guy looking for a 40 would want Cliff's 40, since he has that boat crew he runs with now.

That Cliff guy sent me some pics recently of what he has been up to.

I miss Tony.

Improve your aim.......last time you shot on my ass you didn't miss!

And don't include me in Cliffs gay boating group, Tims loving "family time" group, or Rods " getting ready for home improvement group....I got no clue as to Lukes group, but I don't deserve to or want to be included in it

Sheesh, you Chicago-land guys are a clingy bunch.....I ain't missed an event yet and you're already writing me off for gone, just cause I sold my rig....what I gots ta do? Drive to Naperville & hold a circle jerk once a month to still be included in the core group???????

Your cutting it down to once a month?! WTF?

How is, "I miss Tony," writing you off???

I just haven't had my Tony fix lately. I expect to see you at the badlands in March or April....Or if Scott does another tech day before then I will try my hardest to get your ass up here!

Not you writing me off....all the other ingrates....

I mean, I know I have a great ass & you guys all miss riding it.......but don't want to be included in the "Indy guys" group of no shows

hey, i went to a birthday party and puked (not on a dog), do i get any credit fer dat?

New to the LC...I have an 80 series 146K miles...looking for a mechanic or someone with LC experience that can help out with my brake issues...soft pedal...replaced pads and MC. I have a vacuum bleeder from Griots Garage. Never had any problems bleeding. Cant figure it out. I did bleed the LPSV. I thought about replacing the MC with a 100 series MC. Is this possible? Who do you guys use in the area? I live in the West Chicago/Wheaton/Naperville area. Thanks...

I BEG YOU FORUM ELDERS HERE...If you know any shops that have experienced some of the maladies that plague our rigs please chime in here!! i too i'm looking for a shop in the southwest burbs due to my humming U-joints. while i too consider myself a bit handy with the wrench, somtimes we just dont have the time to wrench on them ourselves and sometimes depending on the project...its better if a lic. tech takes a good look at it...especially when it comes to brakes (as is with the op)....just my .02

There is not much of a car culture here, there is even less of an import 4x4 culture. Therefore, I know of no mechanics other than Tom at TNT4x4 in Marseilles IL. The rest of us work on our own junk.

If folks would just drop their trucks off and pick them up when they were done I might consider working on them again.

Amen.

And the jobs would be done a lot faster and better.

Well......i dropped her of at the shop tonite. its not that i dont want to wrench on her myself, heck i do all my brake jobs and such...but every now and then it helps to actually pay an "expert" to get the job done rite..plus its cold out and i have another rig in my garage...an then theres the 6 day work-week..not that im complaining or making excuses.

I did look up thom's but im in the alsip area...so logistically it'll be a pain to drop her off, make it home and then make my way back when shes done...definietly nice to see someone here mention them. i'll be sure to stop by there someday.

Gumby....pm sent.
