Put an RV air conditioner unit on the roof and add a bigger alternator. Another option would be to put a semi cab rear wall unit on the back.

I wouldn't call a Pinz's suspension independent, highly capable yes, independent no. Also it would be a bit slow on the highway. They never were a fast vehicle. Think military convoy speed.

OK, I got it mixed up with another vehicle.

So, which military vehicle had portal axles that pivoted on a fixed drive line?
 
Unimog has the torque tubes.
