He doesn't know which engine it has. He's listed both the 4 cylinder "Diesel Multi-point injected 3.4L (3431cc)" (I assume he means 3B but maybe it's a 13B-T) and then later he says "1HDT 6CYL 4.2 TURBO DIESEL ".

Nice Rig! The pics clearly show a 1HD-T. Maybe the website 'defaults' the OEM engine when you enter the model number....?

The price seems a bit high, in any case.

the web site wont let you fully custom the tittle only the comments bit

I wonder what is under that new paint job? :hmm:

It does look good. Is the H151 normally behind a 1HD-T? I'm still getting schooled on diesels!

EDIT: Did a search and answered my own question. Yes the H151 trans came with the 1HD-T. School is still in session for me!

The lift looks dumb. It needs the springs flattened out a bit.
With the way the laws are going in NSW ,that will be off the road .
Its from Tamworth so it should be rust free as claimed.

This one has obviously been swapped in with the engine, but the gas versions with the 1FZ FE would have had this transmission from the factory.
The later model HDJ78/79 also had the the H151.

It is a bit too high. Maybe just remove a couple leaves? What is the wheelbase difference between that and a swb BJ-70?

im thinkin the gas versions would have the h150 like my gasser

i like the height for something different dont see to many like it

About 10 inches, you can see the extra between the door and the rear wheel arch

I think the only bad thing about it is that it is sprung over. Price seems high but i reckon it would be worth about 14k because of the engine conversion. People are asking 10k+ for clean BJ73s and there are people paying it. If i were to buy it I would sell the spring over diffs and put it on standard diffs, keep it on 35s, twin locked and it would make an awesome little tough tourer.

Just from the photos the coil conversion looks a little suss, for starters the front springs look very short and the perches on the diff look abit odd.

Ive never understood what the twin shocky thing is all about. Why not just get a larger one?
Another thing about these 4wds with modified suspension is that they rarely show decent close up pics:D

i think those spings are short because they sit under the chassis rail,
those flairs look very after market jpn spec they look good
no plates proberly not licenced
later chrome front looks cool

The flares look like they've been extended

decades ago i inquired about dual shocks for my FJ40 and the parts person stated common sense "dual shocks (for around here, not for Baha) are a waste of money. they give you a stiff ride, restrict travel and cost double. if you have a single shock that is working properly for your application that is the proper route to go"
i bought single shocks and never looked back.

today, the rule still applies. if you need a shock that performs for racing application or for jumping the vehicle then go with a single shock with remote res.

dual shocks are for bling. (similar to low profile winches, SOA on street rig and chrome (it don't get you home)).

well ... in my world anyway.
