I see a pivot shaft on the right. Are you going to put a jerry can holder or something there?
 
I watched Cliff's (80's!) A$$ all the way and back from Tennessee last year!

And I'm not sure about the other swingout. IPOR now puts them on both sides, even if you don't order another. I think I want jerry can holder/cooler holder, but that might be part of next year's upgrade :)
 
Yeah yeah. I checked out our link.... and I was disappointed that you did not manually lift that bad boy on there.

Someday soon, I will have a empty spot in my my driveway, and it will be filled with a hundy, and it will get a IPOR rear. Dual swing out for sure, but not dual spares.
 
I have never been troubled by Johnny Law about mine. If you are that concerned, there is an easy fix. All you have to do is lean it over to the left onto a tree. That swingout will bend to the right, and you will be good to go.
 
It is kinda blocked... I also am going to shift my plate over too. Right now I actually have it moved right by just putting one screw in the 'wrong' slot. But at night the light doesn't properly illuminate the plate.

If I really wanted to I could add some LED lights to the bumper a-la the way ARB did theirs (but better looking).
 
check out my new toy

waiting on a 4inch long arm lift and winch mount to get here . new wheels and tires came in today for it . this will be my new daily driver once i get it done . i hope to have it at hard rock next weekend .

uhhhhhh, WTH are you doing with that in the garage? Seems awful shiny to play too much. What are you planning on doing with it long term? Why put a winch on the "daily driver"?

Just bustin yer balls though, it looks like it has A/C and comfy seats. Does it have the bigger motor in it?
 
well i plan on doing with it what i did with the FJC ( i miss that freakin thing ) . so i figured i would get something that was less costly and has a solid axle up front . plus you can find parts everywhere for it and yes it does have very cold a/c . have all kinds of stuff i want to do to it , but for now just a lift , tires/wheels and winch .

i know carter , but jealousy will get you nowhere (hahahaha) and by the way it's the same color as your 80 .

Ya coulda got an 80 and modded it for the price of that hunk 'o junk! Of course.. the 80 will only give you 16MPG on a good day ;)
 
80's cost to much to buy and to much to modify . Byside's I don't see to many 80's in this FLCA CLUB (if you want to call it that ) wheelin off road , most of what I see is MALL CRAWLER's . Oh did that hurt ........ my bad . I'll put this jeep up against your 80 anyday of the week .......just say when . Off road of course the mall parking lot is not that exciting to me . Wait I'll be at Hard Rock this coming weekend , what cha say Carter ?

But I will agree the Heeps cost a lot less to modify (except for tires, we all share that pain). Problem is you can't enjoy your mods as long cuz they puke their drivetrain up every time you put them to the test :)
