is there a place where i can find a list of the check engine codes.
I remember seeing one for the FJ62's but cant remember for the 80 series.

do i place a jumper in the same location as i do in the Fj62?

Check your factory repair manual. The method depends on the year of your rig.

On the pass side fire wall there is a diagnostic box. Short TE1 and E1 with wire.
Count the flashing CE light. ie; 7 flashes then 1 flash is code 71.
My bet is code 71 EGR

You could have multiple codes; they'll come in pairs of numbers as Kurt described.

Those with earlier FSM's will give you the meaning of the codes.
