I was trying to find one of the threads you posted in that was the first one you started. I guess this is it.
radio and amplifier work as normal?
sound out of all speakers?
navigation works as normal? you hear voice prompts?
antenna up and down buttons work as normal?
CDL lock button works as normal?
Hazard button works as normal?
red security light blinks and or stays steady as normal?
You have a red seat belt indicator on the passenger side that works normal? (on or off with weight in the passenger seat)
have you ran a nail file across all the related fuses, passenger, drivers and main fuse boxes?
there are codes after you reset the ACC fuse, what are they? (again)
there is no sign of water coming in on the drivers or passenger side fuse box?
you don't have techstream?
you don't have the factory manual service book?
there are videos on you tube about removing the side panels and removing the four bolts that hold the center assembly in.
you said your screen was inspected and said to be good, so I'd skip anything related to that.
Once the four bolts are out lean the top outward with the bottom resting on the ledge above the ashtray piece. I'll attach a picture if I can find one.
Unplug all ten plugs back there look at them all, look for signs of other people's work. Pay special attention to the 3 AC plugs. The 3 that go into the rectangle back box.
Looking down from the drivers seat with the assembly leaning open a bit, the AC connector that is closest to the passenger side (A47) has a temp wire, pink, in one of the corners. Make sure that looks normal.
From left to right the AC plugs are this,,, A45 (40 pin) A46 (20 pin or so) the middle one, and then A47 20 or so pins furthest to the right.
Has anyone cut back the tape, or any sheathing to expose the wires as they make their way back up to the main harness?
Any colors mismatched or splices you see in any of the wire sets?
If you can answer those and do all that and inspect and report back I can help maybe.
yours won't lean back this much, I use a peice or cord with a coat hanger hook on one end, hooked into the de defrost vent at the lower edge of the windsheld with the other end wrapped around the two top bolt ears that hols the assembly in place. So the rope holds the assembly up and close to the wiring while working.
Or put a towel on the gear shift lever and move it so it doesn't hurt or rest completely on the screen.
