Check 4-Wheel AHC System - Displayed Once, Now Cleared

They didn’t say where the leak was coming from. . When I asked them if they could just fix the leak they said Toyota recommends a total replacement, they don’t fix leaks . It would cost 5k to replace everything. So I don’t know what to do. The local 4x4 shop doesn’t want to touch it. They want to replace it with regular suspension, I like AHC for towing etc. Maybe I’ll go to a Lexus stealership?

I am sure that the Lexus dealership will want the same thing…replace the whole thing.

Yeah, that all sounds pretty sketch. I’d try to find a better shop willing to look at it. I know that can be difficult.

To add, there are plenty of replaceable parts in the system, so suggesting replacing the whole system because of a leak is ludicrous at best and fraudulent at worst.
