Wanted cheap start to an FJ40 project

Hello all. I am looking to get my hands on a complete / mostly complete FJ40. '76+ preferred, but I will certainly consider any year. I'm not looking to spend much more than $1000 so I'm prepared for a rust bucket or something incomplete. I'm in Longmont, CO (80501). Please help me find a project!!

Bump for a trade offer. Trying to get rid of my 2001 VW Golf Gl TDI, 108K miles. Anyone want to trade a running /driving rough body FJ40 plus cash for the Golf? Check out my craigslist ad:

what I'd like to get my hands on is a package like this plus about $5k for the Golf (negotiable):

72 FJ40 and 68 FJ40

I know, that's exactly what I'm looking for, but I've come to the realization that I need to unload the Golf first, and he isn't interested in a trade. So that's a little frustrating. So I posted it up here to try to generate some interest so I could work a deal with somebody.
