Resurrecting this thread! I have a '79 FJ40 that needs a once over and the parking brake addressed. Anyone know of someone in the Chattanooga area who could take this on? I've called a couple of spots and they keep saying "'79 is a little older than the vehicles we work on".
Texted Justin (number posted above) and haven't received a response. Also called Baldwin Auto in Red Bank and they said no go.

Might be tough in CHA to find a 40 series specialist. @Bama4door might be able to assist. He's in B'ham.

I would but my 40 @ 50mph may or may not make that trip down and back!

Anyone active in Chattanooga or Signal Mountain/Hixson/Red Bank? Birmingham is 2 hours away.
Not that I know of. I’m in Chattanooga and took my fj55 to a few guys locally who told me they knew what they were doing but just made things worse and took my money. I took my rig to Cole @Bama4door and it was well worth the trip. He was honest and reasonable.
