Just to thank all contributors to the FAQ. I changed my suspension fluid a month ago following the FAQ instructions, and all was easy and straightforward  . I flushed all 4 actuators plus the accumulator, and it took almost two full cans.
The Toyota original fluid cost me 16 Euros (around 20 USD) each 4 liter can. I thought it would be more expensive.
Now that it has had time to get thoroughly shaken -not stirred-, I wonder if I should change it again, to flush the last remnants of the old fluid. Would it make a real difference?

It's a 2.5 liter can, not 4 liter, sorry.

If the previous fluid was contaminated in any way, by changing it again you would be removing more contaminants. Contaminants could be incorrect fluid, dirt, moisture etc. as well as wear particles from the pump. If you don't know the history of the vehicle and suspect contamination, then at the price for fluid I would not think it is excessive to do it again as AHC parts are expensive. How does the colour of the fluid in the resivior look now compared to new fluid?

When the fluid discharging through the bleed hose is clear with virtually no bubbles, you are done.

I used 2 cans AHC fluid, then did it again with 2 more cans. (I waited too long to change factory fluid...96k miles...)

OK, I'll do it again. The last fluid I took out looked way better then the first part, but not quite perfect. Clear but not completely bubble-free. I don't know if the previous owner had ever changed it, anyway.

Thanks to both.
