My AHC fluid is lower than max fill line, I will only use AHC 1L fluid bottles (08886-81221) from my Lexus dealer. I simply add fluid like I would the brake brake fluid container correct?

Don’t use the plastic bottles since they may have contaminated fluid. Only use fluids from the metal can.

I called 2 Toyota dealers and they said they don't have the fluid but could order it. Called 3 Lexus dealers and said yes we have it, 1st one 74.99 for 2.5L, 2nd one 64.99 for 2.5L, 3rd one 50.39 for 2.5L (where I went). All 5 dealers said no longer offered in plastic 1L bottles; so you have to buy 2.5L in metal can. Ebay seller said out of stock on the plastic 1L bottles.

You got this from Lexus Dealership? When?

They never admitted to bad fluid. Bad all came off they shelves years ago.

Strain fluid, from L bottle, through cheesecloth. If contaminated, you'll see jell captured in cloth. If you put in already. Drop AHC to L, and suck all out of reservoirs.

thanks for sharing, I personally only have experience with the metal cans but I also find a full flush tanks a little more than one can and the cans don’t seem to reseal very well. I was interested in the 1L format but not if the the plastic is reacting with the fluid.
