changed out oil pan, gasket & bolts- still leaks

so i bought a new OEM oil pan, gasket and oil pan bolts for my '73 55 and had my trusted mechanic install... when i got 'er home last night, there was oil leaking from around the front end of the pan... any ideas? thinking it might be the timing cover gasket, or else the front of the pan gasket didn't seat properly..

Those two bolts on the bottom of the front cover need sealant on the threads...

Or, if your oil squirter is bottomed out, you will leak from the front cover.

Clean the engine and observe wher the leaks are originating.
