Hi, we have a 2010 LC 200, Petrol Auto
At the end of June (winter) the Central Differential(CD) warning light started blinking one morning.
And each morning, after that.
L4 & CD is hardly ever used.
Pressing the CD button did not resolve the issue.
Turning the knob from H4 to L4 also did not illuminate the L4 Light.
Some time later, after driving a short distance in L4, and then switching off the engine, the CD light stopped blinking. And the L4 light came on.
Did the Diagnostic at Toyota.
The CD light continues to blink each morning, but once the engine has been running for a while, switching engine off and on again, the blinking stops.
Toyota have said, if the problem persists, the master cylinder solenoid would need to be replaced. $5k.
