Thanks to Junk, I and maybe others now need FAQ Sticky#2 "When to use them and how?".
1) How to use the CDL switch (if you have one)
a)what is it?
b) Should you stop to lock it?
c) how fast can you be at and lock it?
d) when should you use it?
e) when not to use it?
2)Front diff lock
a)When should you use the front diff lock
b) When shouldn't you use it?
c) How fast to lock and unlock?
3) Rear diff lock
a) when should you use it?
b)when not too/
C)how fast to lock in and out?
4) Chains
a)When to use them?
b)When not to?
c) 2 or 4?

This link might help- http://www.lcool.org/technical/diffs/diffs.html

As for the f&r speeds, I'm pretty sure it's no more than 5 MPH. I've gone faster with the center locked. And on the chains, I've learned that all 4 tires is better than 2. Others may disagree. HTH!!

Most important thing to remember about your lockers is that they are not a cure all. If someone does something like backing into a situation where they are sunk frame deep, a winch can be your best friend. Yes, even with swampers. Remember this pic from before?

I had lockers engaged, but it was crappy VA mud and I wasn't going anywhere. Needed the winch, both front and back several times.
