You probably bent your front axle like Cristo said. If you take your rig to a good alighnment shop. The shop will be able to tell you if your axle is bent by checking the camber and the tow in will be out along with a bent housing.

You just need stiffer longer springs and better shocks if you want to get big air without braking....it can be done with a 6000 lb rig... O yes

After watching that video a few times, I don't think that thing will ever drive the same no matter what you do to it. That is definately not what these rigs were built for.

your out of your mind wakesetter, I drove it 600 miles home to Phoenix at interstate speed and it runs and drives just like it did when I pulled it out of the garage before the trip. You trying to jinx me or what?

Karo- I was at the sand dunes, the most southern end is where they are, just inland a little. And here is a larger version of the picture for you guys that want it as wallpaper. Its mine by the way.

Kavik- im actually putting together a little video of Pismo and will use the same tune as the Dukes of Hazard for the jump segment in slow motion

Ken- if I bent my front axle, dont you think I would of noticed it on the long drive home? And we had a blast on the dunes and in camp hanging with you and everybody. Tom (Stucky) was a little gun shy later I think because of getting stuck, but still drove the hell out of his cruiser. That picture with the ocean in the background of you jumping the Ultimate 80 is awesome. I might have to go back and find a spot like that one for a another snapshot next year.

azrider...stoked for you that you made it home with no problems. Still wouldn't do that to my stock suspension ride though. Especially not my daily driver. I don't have the money to throw at bent axles.

You can't put a price on happiness right? That large pic is awesome!

with that shorter wheelbase and top heavy look, I wouldn't be surprised to see it somersault forward!

There are many Toyotas out there with slightly bent axles that drive like normal.

Even PismoJim looks to have bent his axle on his 60 last weekend.

You can get a new housing from Toyota for not too much $$$...however swaping the parts over might take awhile :)

I think the Cruiser on the front of this year's Surf N Turf shirts caught some major air, the axles are ever so slightly bent.:steer:

I think that was Pismo Jim anticipating Wednesday afternoon at the event. Did you take a close look at knuckles in camp? He hit the berm right in front of camp at 40mph while showing off to some chica , and bent his axle on landing for some significant camber adjustment. It looks just like the 40 on the shirt!:D
