That takes some big ol B_LLS!!!!!

Tools- i would just out of curiousity just to see if they are the same ones or you change it up a little by switching to different color thongs!!

Funny thing happened today. I thoroughly washed it top to bottom and vacuumed out all the sand. Then I take my family to see Madagascar 2 and when I turned on the air, I hear this click-click-click coming from the fan underneath the PS floor board. The clicking would get faster when i would adjust from low to high. My wife automatically assumes something got broken because of the dunes. I get home and take it apart....a small piece of wrapper from camcorder tapes had somehow got sucked in there. Im sure for a long time my wife will associate every little thing.

here you go guys, another video clip of jumping except in the dark!! Dunes are a whole different ball game when you only see what your lights are shining on.

Have someone crank the stearing back & forth while you lay under & watch the mount where the track bar meets the frame. My stearing was off the same way after a day of wheeling. Everything looked good down there till we noticed the crack on the outside edge of the mount.

I cranked on the wheel to get things where they should have been & a friend welded the crack & another small plate over it.

I had the same thing happen to my 80 last winter. I was on a trail and hit a ledge. I was irritated that I couldn't get up it so I gave it a generous shot of skinny pedal and bounced on up. That cocked the steering wheel screwy. I assumed something was not right but took the easy (and wrong) way out and took the steering wheel off and put it back on straight. By relay rod you're essentially talking about the drag link, right? From the pitman to the knuckle? Nothing was really obviously bent or wrong on mine and it tracks down the road just fine. I did blow out a shock, though. I suppose I should check things again. Thanks for the reminder, and awesome jump!

not to encourage you to do anymore potential damage...but...nice air. :D

for those of you that love this video clip as much as I do, here it is in slow motion!!! Looks even higher and farther.

Yes, relay rod = drag link.

Some auto manufacturers call it a drag link. Toyota calls it the relay rod.

Tools, you taking notes? ...

Yep, the notes go something like this; the whole “I got it down because I read the whole :censor: forum” thing isn’t working out to well for you. It appears that you missed the part about keeping at least one tire (I prefer two) on the ground at all times to maintain a drivable rig. Also the part about Lexus owners getting PINK PANTIES,,, BMW owners get the thongs. It’s very simple and there are good tech threads on the subject.

Please attempt to get it together soon, it’s becoming embarrassing to upstanding Lexus owners. What's next a thread like; it’s an exotic import rig, should I run diesel fuel?:p:flipoff2:

Sorry about that fellow panties wearer, i'll try to keep to myself more in the future to avoid us all the embarrassment. Well so far its very drivable, and I think she liked the spanking over the weekend, she gave me back my "D" light in the dash on my way to get breakfast.

Is there a chance that there might have been some of grandpa's cough syrup involved in these jumps, especially the night jump?

No, I just spent 9 hours driving there, unloaded the wife and kids and had to get down to the beach. It was the first time on a beach or dunes with the cruiser and I kinda got excited. Good thing, because the next day I seen the size of the bowls and how easy it could of been to get stuck in them and probably wouldnt have gotten as crazy. Especially since we were the only ones out there that time of night.

AZRider - Where exactly where you at in Pismo Beach?

:hhmm:

well...it could've been this...

;)

(for the uninitiated, you'd want to click on that colored link)
