Some JACKOFF stole my cat. from my 4Runner on halloween night. They had the balls to cut it off in my drive way. Just to let you guys know, THE TWEEKERS ARE BACK IN TOWN !!! I'm so pissed, I could have shot the A@@HOLE !! Be On The Look Out My Brothers. And if you catch them, I think we should take them for a ride to the desert with a roll of Duct tape. :bang:

Sorry to hear that....Is this what the world has come down to....If this person is caught have them take a run up to crown king with some of the boys...They will take care of him:beer:

I've heard 4 runners are pretty coveted because they have more of whatever precious metal that makes them worth so much and easily accessed. I defiantly wouldn't put a stock replacement I think you can get a magnaflow high flow for around 80$ and won't be as tempting to the pricks.

Yeah, Now I'm worried that they'll come back for round two. I'm gonna have to move some stuff around in the garage so I can park in there. I have the 40 in there for that same reason. The cops said they had a lot of reports on this about 3 years ago, And now it's starting to pick up again. So be on your toes.

what we do at work when that happens, weld a piece of heavy gauge angle iron to the tube, and tack weld the nuts/bolts, so they can't un bolt it, and it takes longer and makes more noise when they cut it off with a sawzall.

They cut my wife's (80 series) out right next to the main entrance for the Point Tapatio spa (where she works), in broad daylight with security patrols. There ain't no safe place. The muffler shop tells me they never steal aftermarket cats, 'cause they ain't worth jack. Factory Toy cats were getting $50 a pop from the recyclers. If you want to shoot someone, shoot them. They know exactly where the strung-out girl 'found' the 7 cats she brings in.

If they stole mine, it would be an inconvenience, but the jokes on them. My cats are empty, they're just for show at the emissions station. :hillbilly:

Ive also noticed a resurgence of stolen cats. I had 3 Tundras and one Sequoia come in last Thursday with cats stolen. Ive seen (and heard) andout 8 vehicles in the last handful of workdays :frown:

Watch out !

Tweekers suck

(funny side note: some people driving them cant help but goose the gas now that they have the loud exhaust  wishing they had a Harley or a hot rod...)

I like the idea of making them hard to steal, but please don't shoot the thiefs I wouldn't want any of my 'cruiser brethren (and sistren?) to go to jail for that. I know y'all are just kidding anyway... ;)

Oh and the empty cats? I LOVE that... LOL

Sad part is no matter what they use you won't hear it cause of the house insulation and sleep. My house is 15 feet from my non insulated steel sided shop, sawzall and radio going can't be heard in the house even when the sawzall is chattering bad. Security motion lights and a dog are the best way to deter wanna be theives, and security cameras can help get their license plate. The Police officers would sh@* themselves if the proof was high res. video from multiple angles on a cd burned from a hard drive.

Maybe we could have a prop on the next ballot for tweeker hunting season, then maybe they wouldn't come out as often? :hillbilly:

I think they used a tube cutter on mine, because I didn't see any shavings on the ground and it was a nice cut. A little ruff on the edges though. I read on line, it takes longer to get a cup of coffee, then it does to cut one of these off.

And I pass emissions every year with flying colors. Thats why I love pre-OBDII. As long as my rig is running well, they have no idea my cats are just empty shells.

But it when you rig runs like s*** you will be wanting OBDII

Also on OBDII vehicles all they do for testing is plug into the ADL and if you have no codes you are free to go. So an OBDII can run like s*** as long as it does not code during the test you are good to go:flipoff2:

Thats why I like OBDII:D

That sucks. Just waiting for the day the tweekers discover how to use tools, and those are worth money here..Too bad they didn't leave some fingers behind..

Oh yeah! Well, all they do to mine is a visual and tailpipe sniff at idle...so there...:flipoff2::flipoff2:
