Gonna miss you Forrest.

Trail requirements question. I am bringing my FST that has no rollbar. Can I run any of the trails with this set up?

Excellent question. Roll bars are required for all open- or soft-top vehicles to take part in official trail rides as per the insurance provider, as are all other items on the Inspection Checklist.

That does not mean you cannot attend, or even 'wheel, but without a roll bar, or with a failed inspection, but you will be limited to trails and runs that are not part of the actual event. This means the Friday & Saturday private property runs and the Saturday morning "Relic Run" on Uwharrie Forrest trails are off limits, but you can still wheel Uwharrie Forest on your own or with other attendees.

Raffle prizes have been arriving, and there's some great Relic-oriented stuff. I can guarantee the The Rust Farmers and TLC are gonna make some people VERY happy. We'll have items on display at the registration tent like we always do. You know, conveniently located where you can buy more raffle tickets! Right, @ErikinSC??? More to come...

I'll also say that the Driver Prize (all registered Driver attendees) will be something like we've NEVER had before, and it is something that EVERYONE will be able to use and enjoy. Happy 10th Anniversary, folks!!! :hmm: 🎁

Something new for this year..... We will now be able to accept credit card payments on-site, using Square!! So, if you want to buy any of the merchandise we'll have on-site, or want to buy additional raffle tickets, you won't necessarily have to have cash on-hand. We prefer cash, but we will now be able to take Visa, Mastercard, and American Express as well!

That being said, all raffle tickets will be $5 each on-site during the event. If you want to take advantage of the bulk pricing for raffle tickets, you'll have to do that through the on-line registration page BEFORE the event starts!!!

Just a heads up : https://www.fs.usda.gov/alerts/nfsnc/alerts-notices/?aid=93689

Looks like we will be limited with a no fire / burn ban during the Relic Run....

The U.S. Forest Service will restrict all open burning on North Carolina’s four national forests starting Friday, March 21, 2025, in response to the elevated fire danger occurring across the state.

Remaining in effect through June 30, 2025, or until rescinded by an authorized U.S. Forest Service official, the restriction includes building, maintaining or using an open fire, campfire or stove fire on the Pisgah, Nantahala, Uwharrie and Croatan National Forests. Visitors are still permitted to use commercially available fuel stoves, such as portable propane camp stoves or covered charcoal grills.

The restrictions will remain in effect until there is a change in fire danger. The purpose of fire restrictions is to reduce the risk of human-caused fires during unusually high fire danger and/or burning conditions.

Fire professionals analyze several factors when deciding to enact fire restrictions. These factors include the number of human-caused fires, fire danger ratings, persistent adverse weather conditions, fuel moisture conditions, and the potential threat to firefighters and public safety.

It looks like this may have been lifted with the rain we received yesterday. We'll keep a close eye on the situation.

Anyone have a trail spare tire for 18” oem Toyota wheel that they could bring with them to relic run? Current set of 265/70/18 is at 60% tread . Willing to pay $ or 🍺

Does anybody like 60 Series stuff? The Rust Farmers has you covered with dash bezels in both colors, rear quarter vents, parking brake rebuild kits, 5-speed shift knobs and more.

55 stuff? Yep, they got that, too. Tailgate weatherstrip, cargo gate weatherstrip. Some 2F stuff thrown in to make a bunch of people happy, too!

And it can be yours if you're lucky in the raffle at CRR! These guys really went all out for us this year by donating not only cool stuff, but MULTIPLES of this cool stuff! They even sent stuff for the kiddos in attendance! We're so happy to have them supporting us again this year.
