There are people here that can do it. Parts and time plus shipping. Pinhead has good vids on youtube so you could do it yourself. Carb work isn't for everybody IMHO. An ultrasonic cleaner with proper carb juice would make it easier to get all the little passages clean.

@65swb45 (marksoffroad) is known for rebuilding a solid carb. CITYRACER might have a new OEM carb.

At some point- I hope to hire Mark to build me a carb for my rig.

There are tons a rebuild threads here.

Does anyone know where to get a carberator rebuild kit for a 1972 1FE155?
Best to find and decode the carb build date stamp and then order a kit from Cruiser Outfitters...

Awesome. Thanks.

OddBall from Kelly's Heroes "I don't know what makes them work (Sherman tank), I know how to command one.

Carburetor kits:
Cruiser Outfitters - https://www.cruiseroutfitters.com/engineparts.html Part# CARB60145
Thanks for the information. I spoke with Cruiser Corps directly. Of I gave them the correct data, they said they didn't have a rebuild kit but offered to switch it over to a Weber. That may be what ends of happening, but I'd like to keep it original.

That is VERY strange. Rebuild kits for '72s are readily available from multiple sources, and 72s are generally good cores to work with. Even better when they've been ported for vacuum advance.😉

Even if you're not interested in having me rebuild your carb, you should consider having the port added. Do some thread research on it if you haven't heard about this before. Some info also available on my FAQ: www.marksoffroad.net

You really don't want to 'square peg, round hole' a 2F, rod linkage, transverse air cleaner, maybe-secondary carb onto a truck designed for cable-actuated, mechanical secondary carb.

I am humored in this moment remembering a parallel story, from a parallel universe, long ago and far away.

I joined a club of K5 Blazers in 1982 with my '76 (the same one that was for sale on this forum a few years back). At one of the very first campfires, I remember a few of the senior members talking about their carburetor experiences. Some had switched from the stock Quadrajet to a Holley. Some had switched to Carters. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM ended up going back to stock once they had a better understanding of how all the engine systems work together.😉

Prev owner put a AFI system - and removed the OEM linkage - I was soooo thrilled to find the OEM linkage and go back to stock - couldn’t agree with you more.

If you going to crawl - there is a mod for the Weber that will keep fuel out of the throttle body at extreme angle, but - that’s not my jam for my rig. I’ll beat up my JK for that stuff.

I am still getting use to navigating the forum. So there is probably a ton of information I haven't found yet. Thanks for your help.

I'm new to the forum. Is this Mark from Marks Off Road or 65swb45? I'm interested having it rebuilt if it's possible. With my limited know, I haven't been able to find a kit that specifically says it will work on mine. I probably need to find the manufacturer and model physically on the carberator as suggested earlier. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

You can’t go wrong with @65swb45
It looks like that will be my route at the moment. Thanks for the recommendation.
