Yes, I know. A million threads about this one. I’ve dove into every thread under the sun, and taken all the necessary steps to troubleshoot, but I cannot for the life of me get the vacuum actuated secondary to pull open on my carb.
Here’s what I’ve done:
Rebuilt carb
New diaphragm (Napa 24093) and o ring gasket
Carb cleaner through every port in the path, including the secondary slow cut jet and subsequent paths
Flattened the kickup angle of the mechanical linkage
Only thing that seems suspicious to me is that I do have to push the diaphragm rod up *slightly* to hook it onto the shaft linkage. Is it too long?
Anything I’m missing? Fails the paperclip test no matter what I do.
