In final stages of 74 1F carb rebuild and have hit a snag on the linkage set up. I took pictures, but apparently not good enough ones. Can someone let me know if this looks right? (1st pic).

And where does this thing go....? (second pic)

I am thinking maybe they hook up to the linkage on the pig, but that is far away and it is too late at night to drive there!

Thanks guys!

I am taking the easy way out but my eyes are starting to go cross from reading the FSM....

Does this thing that is circled actually hook to anything....I think it does....but it was not when i took the carb apart....this is what I am working on with my second P-I-G......

Skid....mine does not have a spring on it like yours!

The circled part controls the opening of the secondary. I don't have any experience with that particular model, but on others, typically opening the primary all the way will kick the secondary partially open.
