Hi,
First off. I'm new to this. Please tell me if I'm doing this wrong!
There is sure to be many posts after this one!

My partners the "mechanic" & I'm the "researcher"

Just replaced the clutch in our 75 Series. 1HZ.

My partner says when stopped at a red light - the car wants to go forward, whilst in Nuetral.

What could this be?
There is also a leak on the bottom of the Transfer Case? Could these be related?
We have ordered the Rear Output Shaft Rear Bearing as it need to be replaced.
The driveshaft has a fair bit of "play" also.

Like I said, please let me know if I've done this wrong.
Can anyone help?

Thanks!

I really cant see how this could happen. Neutral means the gearbox is disconnected. Are you sure its not creeping forward when the clutch is pushed down but still in gear. That's common.

Again, I cant see how a leak would be connected to the creeping.
You might be better off considering a full t/case rebuild. You wont be all that far off doing the output bearing. There will probably be some slack further up as well. Do you get any rumbling noises that come and go on the freeway depending speed?

He assured me that is was NOT in gear at all. Yeah, there is noise. Not sure how to explain the noise though, I will get more of a thorough explanation for you though! He has replaced the Rear Main Seal twice in the last 2 months about also.
